You booked a UPSRTC bus ticket. Now you need to confirm it is active, cancelled, or refunded. This guide shows three ways to check your UPSRTC PNR status – official portal, mobile app, and SMS.
What Is a UPSRTC PNR Number?
Every confirmed UPSRTC ticket gets a unique PNR (Passenger Name Record) number. It is a 10–12 digit code printed on your e-ticket or sent via SMS after booking.
You need the PNR to:
- Confirm your seat is reserved
- Check refund status after cancellation
- Reprint your ticket if the original is lost
- Board the bus at the depot counter
Method 1 — Check PNR Status on the Official UPSRTC Portal
This is the fastest and most reliable method.
Steps:
- Open your browser and go to onlineupsrtc.co.in
- Click “My Bookings” or “Check PNR Status” on the homepage
- Enter your PNR number in the search field
- Enter your registered mobile number
- Click Search or Submit
- Your ticket details appear — route, seat number, travel date, and status
What the status means:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Confirmed | Seat is reserved. You are good to travel. |
| Cancelled | Ticket cancelled. Refund is in process. |
| Refunded | Refund processed to your original payment method. |
| Waitlisted | Seat not yet confirmed. Check closer to travel date. |
Method 2 — Check via UP-RAAHI App
UPSRTC’s official mobile app is called UP-RAAHI. It is available on Android and iOS.
Steps:
- Download UP-RAAHI from Google Play Store or Apple App Store
- Log in with your registered mobile number
- Tap “My Bookings” from the bottom menu
- Your active and past bookings appear with current status
- Tap any booking to see full PNR details
The app also lets you reprint your ticket directly from the booking screen.
Method 3 — Check via Third-Party Platform
If you booked through redBus, MakeMyTrip, AbhiBus, or Paytm, check status on the same platform:
| Platform | Where to Check |
|---|---|
| redBus | My Trips → Enter email or booking ID |
| MakeMyTrip | My Trips → Bus Tickets |
| AbhiBus | My Bookings → Enter booking reference |
| Paytm | My Orders → Bus Tickets |
Note: Third-party PNR numbers are different from UPSRTC portal PNRs. Use the platform where you originally booked.
What If Your PNR Shows “Not Found”?
This happens for three reasons:
- Wrong number entered — double-check the PNR from your SMS or email confirmation
- Booking is too recent — new bookings take up to 15 minutes to reflect in the system
- Booking failed — if payment was deducted but no ticket received, call the UPSRTC helpline at 0522-2630562 or toll-free 1800-180-2877
How to Get Your PNR Number If You Lost It
- SMS: Check the booking confirmation SMS from UPSRTC on your registered number
- Email: Search your inbox for “UPSRTC ticket” or “booking confirmation”
- Portal: Log in to onlineupsrtc.co.in → My Bookings — all past bookings are listed
- UP-RAAHI App: Log in → My Bookings — full history available
