How to Check UPSRTC Refund Status

Method 1 – Official Portal

  1. Go to onlineupsrtc.co.in
  2. Log in with your registered mobile number
  3. Click My Bookings
  4. Find the cancelled ticket
  5. Check the status column — it will show Cancelled, Refund Initiated, or Refunded

2nd Method – UP-RAAHI App

  1. Open UP-RAAHI app and log in
  2. Tap My Bookings
  3. Select the cancelled booking
  4. Refund status appears under the booking details

Method 3 — Check Your Bank or Wallet

The fastest way to confirm a refund is received:

  • UPI: Check your UPI app transaction history
  • Net Banking: Check bank statement for a credit entry
  • Credit/Debit Card: Check your card statement or bank SMS alerts
  • Paytm Wallet: Open Paytm → Passbook → check for incoming credit

Method 4 — Third-Party Platform

If you booked on redBus, MakeMyTrip, or AbhiBus, check refund status on the same platform under My Trips or My Bookings. These platforms process refunds independently after UPSRTC approves the cancellation.

Refund Not Received — What to Do

If the refund timeline has passed and money has not returned, follow these steps in order:

Step 1 — Wait one extra working day. Bank processing sometimes adds a day beyond the stated timeline.

Step 2 — Check your original payment source. Refunds always return to the original account. If you paid via UPI linked to a specific bank, check that bank’s account — not a different one.

Step 3 — Call UPSRTC Helpline. Keep your PNR number and cancellation confirmation ready.

  • Toll-free: 1800-180-2877
  • Direct: 0522-2630562
  • Available 24×7

Step 4 — Raise a complaint on the portal. Log in to onlineupsrtc.co.in → Help / Grievance → Submit complaint with your booking ID and cancellation date.

Step 5 — Contact your bank. If more than 15 working days have passed with no refund and UPSRTC confirms it was processed, raise a dispute with your bank directly.
